Customer Challenge:

Number of issues were being experienced with timber and concrete road crossings especially during the winter due to salt being sprayed on the roads.Salt eventually attacks sleepers and fasteners; resulting in regular replacement and constant track closure for maintenance and renewals.

Sicut Solution:

Sicut composite sleepers with dimensions 152mm x 254mm x 2500mm were installed to replace level-crossings on European mainline passenger track. The crossing was prefabricated off-site and delivered to site for installation by the clients chosen contractor.
