Customer Challenge:

Replacement of hardwood sleepers on a European tram line. The client required an alternative to traditional wood sleepers encased in concrete.

Sicut Solution:

Mixture of Sicut composite sleeper with dimensions 152mm x 254mm x 2600mm, and 152mm x 304mm Sicut bearers were used for this project. Sicut composite sleepers were proven to be installed and handled in the same way as hardwood.
